Compare To Constant

Compares the input signal and a constant value

Category: Logical

Description:

This block compares the input signal against a constant value. The constant value is defined as a parameter. The comparison method named Operator and the constant value are defined in the Compare To Constant Properties showed in Figure 1.

Figure 1 - Parameters configuration

When the comparison is true, the output signal is one, otherwise, the output signal is zero. Figure 2 shows some examples of Compare To Constant block receiving signals from Constant block and Display blocks showing the output signal.

Figure 2 - Different applications for Compare to Constant block

Parameters:

Comparison method applied between the input signal and the Constant Value parameter.

Constant value that will be used in the comparison with the input signal according to the Operator.

Ports:

Input

The signal flowing into this port will be compared to the Constant Value in every step.

Data Types:
Output

The signal sent by this port is the response of the comparison. If the comparison is true, this signal is equal to one, otherwise, is equal to zero.
