
Converts a signal from U32 to Q15.16

Converts a U32 signal, i.e. integer, to Q15.16 . Figure 1 shows an example to illustrate the effects of this conversion.

As can be seen, the decimal number 1, after the conversion, has 16 bit 0 before the most significant bit, i.e., 0b10000000000000000, and, before the conversion, it was 0b1 in U32 data type.
The signal flowing into this port is in U32 data type.
