
Limits the signal

Limits a signal in a specified range. Figure 1 and 2 show a saturation block being used.

In Figure 2 the signal is saturated at a maximum value of
This value limits the maximum value of the input signal. If the input signal is greater than this parameter, the signal gets saturated and the output signal assumes the Upper Saturation Limit value.
This value limits the minimum value of the input signal. If the input signal is lower than this parameter, the output signal gets saturated and the output signal assumes the Lower Saturation Limit value.
The Lower Saturation Limit must be lower than the Upper Saturation Limit.
The signal flowing into this port shall be saturated according to the saturation parameters.
The signal flowing from this port is a saturated version of the input signal.
