This example shows an application of
QFIRE CTR-101
receiving data by RS485 communication.The Simulation blocks in QFIRE Studio can be used to simulate an application with digital communication bus, e.g. RS485. The Message Source block is able to generate messages with specific payloads and message Header while triggering messages at given times. In this example, we use this block to generate the messages in the table below.

The following diagram was designed to simulate this case.

The data from table was added into Message Source block by configuring this block as shown in Figure 2.

In the Task 0 Workspace, the diagram from Figure 3 was designed.

As can be seen, there is a subsystem named Holder. This subsystem is responsible to hold the payload value until a new payload be received. The Holder diagram is shown in Figure 4.

After simulates this application, the received data are plotted in the Scope from Figure 5.
