Displays current value of the signal

Description:

This block is specially useful in debug mode, it shows the value of its input signal without the need of opening a dialog. In Figure 1, it is possible to see the last value of some signals. At the end of a simulation, it keeps the last value for visualization.

In some situations, it is necessary to resize the display block to see numbers with too many decimal places. It shows the current value when simulation is running in debug mode. One may put a breakpoint in it to assure that it is going to output the value fed into it during a specific execution step.

Parameters:

Allows the user to display the signal in decimal, hexadecimal or binary. Figure 2 shows Display Properties dialog and Figure 3 shows a signal being displayed in different formats.
