Bit Shift Left

Performs the logical left shift on the input

Description:

The Bit Shift Left block allows the user to perform the bit shift operation on a signal. Figure 1 shows an example using this block.

As can be seen, the value 1 in the least significant bit has been shifted to the left. The new value is 0b10.

Parameters:

The parameter Length defines how many times the bit shift operation is executed.

Input

Receives a signal to be shifted.

Returns the Input Signal shifted to the left according to the Length parameter.
