Converts Q15.16 to four byte SI

Description:

In situation where it is necessary to use CAN Output or RS485 Output, the payload data must be split into bytes. If it is necessary for the information to retain its data in their respective bits, the Q16 To Byte SI block can be used. Figure 1 shows the difference between Q16 To Byte SI and Q16 To Byte.

As can be seen, there is a difference in the output of the blocks. Consequently, only the Q16 To Byte SI block has the capability to convert negative and fractional values into bytes while preserving their information. Figure 2 shows an example.

The signal received in this port is split into four bytes.

Data Types:
Output

Returns the signal received split into four bytes. The upper port is responsible for the least significant byte and the lower is responsible for the most significant byte.
