Account Closure
If you wish to end your account, whether due to no longer needing the service or for other reasons, please follow the steps below to request account closure.
Contact Support
Please contact our support team to initiate the account closure process. Send an email to: account.support@mwf-technologies.com
. In your email, please provide the following details to ensure a smooth and quick resolution:- Your full name
- The email address associated with your account
- Your company name (if applicable)
- A brief description of your request to end your account
Our support team will guide you through the necessary steps and confirm once your account has been successfully closed.
Data Retained After Account Closure
The following information will be retained after account closure to comply with legal and security requirements, as outlined in the LGPD:
- Email Address: Retained to prevent duplicate registrations and for security purposes (Art. 7º, X).
- Access Logs: Retained for 6 months as required by the Marco Civil da Internet (Art. 16, I). This includes:
- IP addresses used to access the platform.
- MAC addresses of devices accessing the platform.
- Timestamps of access and actions performed.
- Any information necessary to comply with legal or regulatory obligations (Art. 16, I).
Data Permanently Deleted
Once the account closure is finalized, the following information will be permanently deleted:
- Personal profile information, such as name, address, and preferences.
- Group memberships and associated metadata.
- Session history beyond the required retention period.
- Authentication data, such as hashed passwords and tokens.
Irreversible Action
Please note that your account closure request will be processed over a period of 30 calendar days. During this period, you can cancel the request, and the closure will not be effective until the 30-day period has ended. After this period, the account closure process will be irreversible.
